Get Free Inflight WiFi or Hotspot Access with a Credit Card
Several credit cards provide free access to inflight WiFi and/or global hotspot networks.
- A few Amex cards provide free access to Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots. You can connect to over a million hotspots around the world, without having to pay the normal monthly, daily, or hourly fees. - Free Gogo inflight wireless passes. Gogo provides Wi-Fi services on many airplanes, including most flights on Alaska, American, Delta, and United. A few credit cards will give you free passes every year. Gogo website.
- Get higher speed Wi-Fi with some hotel credit cards. All members of the hotel's loyalty program usually get free Wi-Fi during their stays. But, with the automatic elite status that you can get with some hotel credit cards, you can get free access to a higher-speed Wi-Fi option, when you stay at that hotel.
