4% back on restaurant spending makes this a great option for someone who wants to optimize their spending, but doesn't want to pay annual fees or plan on using their points for frequent flyer tickets.

Collecting the Signup Bonus
It probably doesn't make sense to get this card just for the signup bonus. But the normal offer of $200 ($1,000 initial spend) is a pretty nice side benefit for a no-annual-fee card that you might want for its bonus categories.
Other Notable Benefits
- Streaming bonus. If you use the card to pay for a streaming service for 11 months in a row, you'll receive a credit for the 12th month (up to $15 per year). Not much, but at least the card earns 2% rewards on the charges.
Bonus Categories
- The main focus of the card is 4x points for restaurant spending. If you aren't planning on using your points for frequent flyer tickets, this might be the best available option for restaurant spending. The Citi Prestige, Sapphire Reserve, US Bank Flexperks Gold, and Fairwinds Visa Signature have slightly higher "cash" reward rates, but have annual fees. The Wells Fargo Propel combination earns slightly more, but it requires a complex combination of two cards. Best Credit Cards for Restaurant Spending.
- The other bonus category reward rates are not interesting. You should be earning at least as much with your general purpose card. And you never want to use this card for your everyday purchases.
